On 14 March, we at NEXOR MEDICAL celebrated a technical event together with Centro di Medicina in Mestre – Venice, where we showcased the latest advancements in applied medical technology. This event allowed us to share our contribution to a state-of-the-art healthcare centre designed to integrate artificial intelligence, advanced diagnostics, and sustainability into medical care
The Centro di Medicina, completed after 24 months of development, was made possible through the collaboration of over 30 companies and 120 specialists in innovative healthcare infrastructure. Designed by architects Marco Da Ros and Mario Mazzer, this modern facility follows internationally recognised standards and has received prestigious awards such as The American Prize in New York and the Architizer A+Award.
Our Contribution to the Surgical Area
At NEXOR MEDICAL, we are proud to have played a key role in enhancing safety and efficiency within the centre’s surgical environment.
One of the most significant advancements we implemented is OPRAGON, an advanced airflow system designed to ensure a controlled and safe surgical environment. This cutting-edge technology improves air purity across the entire operating theatre, significantly reducing the risk of infections and enhancing safety for both patients and medical professionals.
Additionally, we developed the entire surgical department, which includes:
- State-of-the-art operating theatres
- Minor surgery rooms
- An in vitro fertilisation (IVF) department
- Sterilisation facilities
- Ancillary rooms
During the event, we had the pleasure of engaging with industry experts to showcase the benefits of our solutions. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the OPRAGON technology first-hand, stepping into the operating rooms and experiencing the real impact of our advanced ventilation system
